Artist's Comments
This is a collaborative piece between Daniel Simkins who is a typographer and myself.
We are both avid listeners of a state of trance, and wanted to make a poster to promote it. (and who knows, maybe even catch Armin's eye.) Dan created a custom one off typeface for this poster, which is used alongside avant garde. I created the vinyl etc from a photo i took of one of my own 12". (still a work in progress!) thanks for looking. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. As we were making this i was enquiring as to how much it would be to get it done with spot on the text, (varnish or a pantone metallic) none of the local firms have got back to me yet though! Maybe they dont like my money! haha.
