Music artwork commission

Wed May 13, 2009, 2:23 PM
I am very, very interested in producing some fresh artwork for someone out there in the music industry.

Ideally the D&B, Breakbeat, or Dubstep scene. However, I'm very open to all forms of electronic music.

CD / Vinyl / Promo / Branding etc.

If anyone happens to know any new or emerging artists that would like a professional designer let loose on something that they understand, drop me a line.

I'm willing to come to arrangements, it's a two-way street.

I do. The Collective puts on gigs in Hamilton NZ. My boyfriend has been designing for them, but he's really really busy now. Having said that, they are pretty happy with what he has designed for them and have been re-using his stuff, plus as a friend to them, he's free. And they aren't making a profit yet, so I doubt they would pay. Maybe you could twist a little something out of them if you could gurantee pulling crowds with your designs.

oh. They are dnb, and dubstep.

fuckin epicly good too. I've been to MANY gigs and dnb festivals, and The Collectives are up there in the best gigs I've ever been to. They do well because they have a lot of contacts, and passion and have been happy to be losing money for the opportunities to have gigs. They very quickly picked up a spot in a local club, every thursday, and they have priority on spots too now, as they are a crowd puller, in Hamilton the town of lame people who only like music like Basshunter.

Haha basshunter. Classy!

That's a good heads up, thanks!

I'm not adverse to do a certain amount pro-bono, if it looks like a good opportunity.

It would be great if you could pass on my contact details to them, (sam@swgfx.com) or even if you've got theirs and could send them to me, see what possibilities there are. I've got a friend who I think would also love to collaborate on something like this.
